Vocational Training Project – Step Foundation Pakistan
The Step Foundation Pakistan is committed to empowering women through education, skill development, and self-reliance. To achieve this vision, the foundation has established a Vocational Training Center, where more than 1,000 girls have received professional training in various trades that enable them to become financially independent and contribute to their families and communities.
At the center, young women are provided with hands-on training in tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts, and beautician courses, helping them develop practical skills that are in demand in both local and urban markets. The beautician training program has been especially impactful, equipping hundreds of girls with the confidence and expertise to start their own small salons or work in established beauty centers—turning their skills into sustainable livelihoods.
The training environment is safe, supportive, and inclusive, led by experienced instructors who guide students not only in technical skills but also in professionalism, ethics, and business management. Many graduates of the center have gone on to start their own businesses, support their families, and serve as role models in their communities.
Through this initiative, the Step Foundation Pakistan continues to transform the lives of women by turning their potential into power—building confidence, creating opportunities, and inspiring a new generation of skilled, independent women across Pakistan.
