A productive meeting was held with the ladies team of Step Foundation Pakistan to discuss the upcoming Employment Scheme initiative aimed at empowering women through skill development, job opportunities, and community support programs. During the meeting, participants shared valuable ideas and recommendations to strengthen the project and ensure better opportunities for deserving women. The discussion focused on creating sustainable employment pathways, vocational training, and awareness programs to support economic growth and self-reliance among women. Step Foundation Pakistan remains committed to promoting women empowerment and providing equal opportunities for a brighter and more independent future.

The STEP Foundation Special Wing focal person held an important and productive meeting with Mohsin, during which detailed consultation and planning were carried out regarding the 3rd December – International Day of Persons with Disabilities. During the meeting, meaningful discussions were held on the importance of Special Day, its core objectives, disability rights, essential facilities for persons with disabilities, accessibility, inclusion, and the role of differently-abled individuals in society. Various programs, awareness campaigns, workshops, community engagement activities, and social media strategies were also discussed to highlight the contributions and needs of special persons. The focal person of the Special Wing stated that 3rd December reminds us that persons with disabilities are an essential and valuable part of society. Encouraging them, resolving their issues, improving accessibility, and ensuring better opportunities for them is a collective responsibility of the entire community. He further emphasized that STEP Foundation has always been committed to the empowerment, inclusion, and well-being of special persons, and this year, every effort will be made to make the 3 December Special Day 2024 more impactful, dignified, and meaningful than ever before. The meeting concluded with positive suggestions, a strong planning framework, and a practical action plan to ensure that the activities organized on Special Day are not only informative but also genuinely beneficial for persons with disabilities.
